Language courses for students

Students receive ECTS points after participating in our language courses and can have the courses credited towards the free electives of their degree program. Registration takes place via UNIGRAZonline, the university's electronic information and course system (Attention! Students of Graz University of Technology, Graz University of Medicine and Graz University of the Arts must be registered as co-registrants ).

The courses can also be attended by employees of the University of Graz and external participants (with confirmation of participation without ECTS instead of a certificate), provided there are still places available. Please send an e-mail to konfuzius(at)uni-graz.at

► The course fee is to be transferred to our account immediately after receiving the fixed place. Please make sure to write the following in the reason for payment field: ALB 790900 WSE + the 6-digit course number + YOUR matriculation number. For payments abroad, please indicate that you are paying all fees.

► Please send an electronic confirmation of payment with the course number in the subject line to konfuzius(at)uni-graz.at. If the fee has not been received by the start of the course and there is no proof of payment, you may have to cancel your registration and be reassigned a place on the course. The course fee will only be refunded if the course does not take place.

The number of participants is limited. The minimum number is 3 persons. The Confucius Institute reserves the right to cancel courses. Only in the event of cancellation will paid course fees be refunded.

2 semester hours per week (2 hours) - 3 ECTS points
4 semester hours per week (4 hours) - 6 ECTS points

Course certificate with ECTS points for students:

• 80% attendance
• regular participation
• achievement of course objectives, homework
• written and oral examination at the end of the semester
• printable after entering the examination results via UNIGRAZonline

Certificate of attendance for staff and other participants:

• at least 70% attendance
• regular participation
• Achievement of the course objectives
• homework
