Speak, listen and experience Chinese
The "Chinese language corner" enables course participants of all levels to immerse themselves further in the Chinese language! After brief input on various everyday situations that you may encounter on a trip to China, you can have conversations in Chinese with each other or with the teachers. Expression, vocabulary and comprehension can simply be practiced better in a relaxed teahouse atmosphere.
Free study hour with professional support
The second half of the weekly meeting can be used as an open study hour, with the entire wealth of our library at your disposal and active support from our teachers. The aim is to provide additional space for an informal language experience, getting to know each other and exchanging ideas.

We are offering the following courses for the current semester:
- Language corner Basic (A1.2 - A1.3)
- Intermediate language corner (A2.1 - A2.3)
- Language corner Advanced (from B1.1)
- Costs:
- € 60 for the whole semester for all those currently enrolled in a course at the institute
- € 80 for students of the University of Graz, TU Graz, AAU (who are not enrolled in a current course at the institute)
- € 180 for employees of the University of Graz (who are not currently attending a course at the institute)
- € 230 for external students (who are not currently enrolled in a course at the institute)
- € 180 for students of other university educational institutions with proof (who are not taking a current course at the institute)
- € 180 for pupils (who are not taking a current course at the institute)
Talent Class
Do you already speak fluent Chinese and want to become a China expert? If so, then come to our "Talent Class"! Here, our teachers will not only help you improve your communicative skills in Chinese, but also deepen your general knowledge of Chinese culture, history, economy and other aspects. Your artistic skills such as Chinese painting, calligraphy, Chinese singing and music on traditional Chinese instruments or Taiji can also be acquired - based entirely on you and your areas of interest.
Participants who represent the Confucius Institute Graz at the Chinese Bridge Competition take part in the Talent Class free of charge.
