Fit 4 You
Holistic program to improve the quality of life!
In the Chinese tradition of yin and yang, harmony and balance play an important role. They ensure a happy, healthy and long life. It is always about bringing opposing forces into balance, because everything in the world has an opposite pole. The Chinese tradition tries to achieve this balance in all areas of life - body, mind and soul should also be brought into harmony.
With the Fit4You program, the Confucius Institute wants to create a holistic offer for interested parties that brings together the areas of nutrition, medicine and philosophy and conveys the long tradition of Chinese harmony. The aim is to create the basis for a balanced life. After starting last semester with a two-week series of online Daoyin exercises for the lunch break, the program is now to be expanded and supplemented with significant impulses from Chinese healthcare.
Healthcare, 医疗保健 , has a long tradition in China. The Confucius Institute and a number of experts from the fields of nutrition, exercise, medicine and philosophy would like to help you stay fit and protect yourself from negative external influences. In Chinese culture, prevention is essential and more important than cure.
心安身自安,身安室自宽。
In a peaceful heart, one finds personal tranquility; with personal tranquility, one finds ample space.

Movement
The Fit4You project initiative offers Daoyin exercises, the original form of Qigong, as part of general health promotion. They are ideal for strengthening the immune system and restoring inner balance and well-being. The sports scientist and former top athlete Dr. Wan Jie Chen, now Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Graz, leads the free exercise sessions, which lead to a new quality of life and help to slow down everyday life.
